Returns and Exchanges
We guarantee the quality of and your satisfaction with all Home From Slovenia merchandise. Most items we sell are handcrafted and as such will have variations in design, coloration and execution. No two handcrafted items are identical. Any item purchased from Home From Slovenia can be exchanged or returned for a full refund of purchase price if received back by us, in original condition and packaging, within 20 days from the original package delivery date, with some exceptions outlined below.
If you receive damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please contact us immediately at 203-775-0853, or via email to Orders@HomeFromSlovenia.com to advise us of the exact nature of the problem. In order for us either to provide you with a refund or exchange, you will need to return the merchandise to us in the condition in which you received it. In this case, we will waive all return and exchange restrictions, except the 20 day limit. If the item was damaged in freight, we will send you a replacement or issue you full credit (including shipping charges) according to your decision. Be sure to repack all merchandise to return in the same way that you found it. COD shipments cannot be accepted.
A 15% restocking fee may be applied (at our discretion) in the following cases: (1) if the package was rejected at the delivery attempt; (2) if the shipping address you provided is invalid or incorrect; (3) if the package is returned to us without a request for a refund or exchange; or, (4) if more than 2 items are returned.
Refunds and exchanges will be issued after we have received the returned item, confirmed its original condition, received the refund or exchange request, and have confirmed completion of the original payment. The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges associated with the return and exchange, as well as original shipping and handling charges. We reserve the right not to accept returns and exchanges that arrive more than 20 days after the original delivery date, or in used condition, or in alternate, unsuitable packaging.
All returns should be sent to Home From Slovenia, 604 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT 06804. COD returns cannot be accepted.
